A wrap of 2024
Hello my lovely Australian Native Art enthusiasts! Last year was a very busy year and I realised only in retrospect that I didn’t do a single blog post:-( So to remedy this oversight, here’s a little overview of that very busy year. I only managed to squeeze in a couple of works for myself as the rest of the year was consumed with commissions.
I took on a huge job in an area I have never worked in before…. the food indsutry. I completed approximately 30 hand painted illustrations of anti pasto ‘fresh’ ingredients for Australian food company, Gourmet Saba. It was a huge job, but I was really happy with the end result. You might see (and get to try) some of these super tasty products in Coles and independent delis.
I also had the pleasure or working with several other Australian companies creating Australian natives patterns for their respective brands; swimwear company Shapes In The Sand and Home Fragrance company; Pastel Pines and a tee-shirt illustration for ethical start-up, Native Clothing Co.
I also collaborated with International menswear brand Yiume and once again with local Sydney Publishing company, Blue Island Press in the form of calendars.
Thanks so much to all my clients. It’s always a thrill to see my work out in the wild. I have some exciting collabs coming up in 2025 too, but more on that later.
Take care,
Eloise
